Movie Review: Suicide Squad
Okay, so I watched Suicide Squad for the second time this evening. First time’s the charm but this second time t was boring and made me tired and sleepy. Good to see Batman appear in this film, about three times give or take. Will Smith has talent as an actor each and every time. If you ask me he did a great job as Deadshot, a master gunsman with a estranged wife and a daughter that loves him so much, even so that while she knows he does bad things for a living, still loves him. She’s cute and seems to get younger as the film progresses.
Margot Robbie was a excellent Harley Quinn and in the flashbacks when she was a psychiatrist she was clamorouring for her “puddin’/Mr. J.” The Enchantress sort of took away from the seriousness of the film by adding supernatural meta-human, witch vibe. This was supposed to be about criminals doing a job, a hit and it turned into something more. All and all the ending wasn’t bad and I see DC one upped Marvel o heir move to show clips of an upcoming movie in their universe. I give Suicide Squad a “B.”
