Movie Review: Aquaman
This was a great movie and it’s about time DC Comics got its movies right. I hear it’s setting records for DC comics films and things are starting to look bright for another Justice League movie. It’s starts off with Nicole Kidman and her surface dweller beloved getting busy and having a child which would turn out to be Arthur Curry aka Aquaman.
Arthur has no concerns becoming king. He’s a playboy who just wants to stay on land and cause trouble. Patrick Wilson causes ruckus and Arthur’s half brother and he has seized the throne and send Arthur’s and Pat’s into exile.
Great story but the humour was not as on point as those of Marvel Comics. Eventually Arthur teams up with Mera and get back Neptune’s trident in the Sahara and so they did. Arthur then sees clearly that his place is on the throne and meets up with mom and take down his brother.
He has to face Black Manta, a black man who believe’s Aquaman killed his father and boy is he mad. Lo and behold, He’s defeated and all is well. It’s a bridge between worlds and good prevails. Aquaman, make us proud in the sequel.
