So, it’s 1985 and Ronald Reagan has been re-elected. I love Weird Science the movie. I think I can see why it was an 80s classic. it has science fiction, humour pretty girls and a nice concept. The 1994 TV series was great and iam glad i saw the series first and the movie second.

I love the TV version like crazy. I remember one night in the 1990s during a wedding reception all I had on my mind was an episode of Weird Science to go home to. That time it was Saturday night on USA Network. It last five seasons and it makde stars out of Robert Downey Jr. aka Iron Man and Anthony Michael Hall.

This movie is simple. Two high school teens, losers and nerds who create a supernatural computer who is in the form of a gorgeous, hot, woman who can do it all with her supernatural powers but unlike the TV series, Gary is smart and get good grades and so does Wyatt and she changes their lives by giving them popularity and fame. So asked, so done.

Things go awry when Wyatt’s home gets turned into a warzone for crazy bikers and all sorts of shennanigans. If that wasn’t enough there came a missile in Wyatt’s room. Chett, Wyatt’s older brother extorts money from him and treats him like dirt and eventually Lisa, the woman who Gary and Wyatt created, turns him into a filthy, disgusting creature.

In one fell swoop Lisa reversed the damages to Wyatt’s parent’s house and remove the missile. Everything is as it was before the Donnelly’s returned and no one is the wiser. Great storyline and Kelly LeBrock is drop dead gorgeous.
