This has to be the lamest movie from 2023. The only good part was the very end. They killed off the lead female character for most of the film until the end where she was in bandages and she reunited with the hero and her child, Akiko. The child played the part well and cried right on queue. The damage that Godzilla unleashed was intense and like a true Godzilla film, he came back to life. Well … he never really died. He was fierce until the end.

The man who played the male lead was courageous and fierce and avenged his comrades and loved ones and was adamant that he would emerged victorious to reunite with Akiko, the young girl. The Japanese in the crosshairs of Godzilla’s path were fierce and defiant in their courage against the monster.

Not impressive a film and Godzilla looked like he needed to eat something because he was moving very slowly, even compared to the animated series which aired on Fox Kids in the late 1990s. This film disappointed, big time. But Godzilla the myth has been around for decades and is somewhat of a Japanese staple. He’ll be back, he always comes back.
